About Us
Val Maloney is a Maine native and a self-taught artist. She and husband Pat share their home with three Bearded Collies and the occasional grown child. They bred and showed Old English Sheepdogs and Bearded Collies for many years under the Showstopper prefix, and now breed Beardies under the Avalon prefix.
Val is also a Reiki Master and owner of the Pawsitive Path, her healing practice dedicated to Reiki and animal communication. She has worked with people and animals from around the world, and says that she learns from every animal she meets.
